My Story

Like many of you, I’ve walked the difficult and often painful path of struggling with an eating disorder. But today, I am in a place of recovery, and I am passionate about helping women find their own healing.

In the past, I faced deep challenges that affected how I saw myself and my relationship with food. I remember the feelings of shame, guilt, and anxiety. For a long time, I felt like I was at war with my body and trapped in a cycle that seemed impossible to break. But therapy changed everything for me—it helped me to better understand myself and get to the root cause of my eating disorder behaviors. I slowly began to understand that my worth was never tied to the number on a scale or the way my body looked.

I understand that recovery is not linear. There are ups and downs, and some days feel harder than others. But every step forward is an achievement, and with time, I learned that healing is possible. I’ve gained the tools and insights needed to reconnect with my body and embrace a healthier, more balanced relationship with food. It wasn’t easy, and it wasn’t quick, but it was worth it.

I share this not because I have all the answers, but because I want you to know that you are not alone. I understand the struggles you’re facing, and I’m here to support you. I want to make recovery a little less daunting by offering not just understanding, but a clear path forward. Together, we can navigate this journey and find a path to healing that feels achievable and sustainable.

If you're ready to start your own journey, I’d love to walk with you every step of the way.

my values

balance & sustainability

Recovery isn’t about perfection; it’s about creating a balanced relationship with food, body, and self that supports lasting well-being.

compassion

I approach each client with warmth, understanding, and non-judgment, creating a safe space for healing and self-acceptance.

collaboration

Healing happens in connection, and I believe in working together to tailor therapy to your unique needs, goals, and strengths.

empowerment

My goal is to help you reclaim your life, trust yourself, and build the confidence to navigate recovery with resilience and self-compassion.

My approach

I believe that recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and my approach is centered on meeting you exactly where you are in your journey. Whether you’re just beginning to explore the idea of recovery or have been working toward healing for some time, I provide a supportive space that honors your individual needs and pace. Using a blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused approaches, I help clients develop practical skills to navigate challenges, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

My goal is not to impose a rigid idea of what recovery "should" look like but to help you define and achieve the version of recovery that feels authentic and sustainable for you. Together, we will work to strengthen emotional resilience, increase self-trust, and create meaningful changes that align with your values and lifestyle. I believe in making therapy a collaborative process—one where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to take steps toward the life you deserve.
